DIONNE LOEHR TAYLOR

Dionne Loehr Taylor flits between Sydney, Brighton, London and Paris in what can only
be described as hard candy glamour. She brings the indoors outdoors in lingerie textures that make men tremble and women want to go shopping: angora, silk taffeta, stretch sateen, patent, gold and suede.

A muse to many and something of a brand ambassador for cult French label Fifi Chachnil, Dionne's vision is a Rococo marzipan realm of damsels in damask but her personal sense of proportion is also a bit modern. It's seduction... with wit and romance, the sheer pleasure of feminine wiles and (we think) a lovely sense of colour. Think of the boxes at Ladurée and mix them up with some watercolours by Dufy. Sort of mouth watering really.

What she is wearing on an autumn afternoon in Paris in early September is... a turquoise blue angora "Le Meilleur" sweater by Fifi Chachnil, Animal print handbag and heels by Dolce and Gabbana, and a pink silk taffeta "Night Visiting Skirt" from the forthcoming collection by The Vampire's Wife.

She usually wears red lipstick and a powdered face...
we are waiting to ask what her perfume is... It has to
be French but maybe it's pure vanilla essence. As sweet
as she is.

"My perfume is called "Portrait of A Lady" by Dominique Ropion for Frederic Malle which is a very heady, heavy darkly oriental rose scent that I love and apply far too liberally!"
