Favourite lipstick shade... Dolce & Gabbana Matte in Dolce Flirt 621 it smells of roses.

Age lipstick was first worn... I remember being told by my father to 'paint the canvas rather than your face' when experimenting, so I think around 15.

Favourite state of being: a). Frock b). Pencil skirt
c). Trousers
... Frock - always, pencil skirt - sometimes, trousers - never.

Why is this your favourite dress?... It's my favourite dress of the moment, it's covered in red roses is ballerina length and twirls, what's not to love.

Do you have "lucky lingerie"?... I love lingerie, but don't really think of a set as lucky. I was lucky enough to walk for Mademoiselle Fifi Chachnil in her Grand Escalier show, I wore a black lace robe of dreams, Mon Amant.
I treasure that, so that feels quite lucky.

Is England an easy place to dress up in... England is accepting of eccentricity, which is essential to true glamour. Public transport is the enemy of it,
as is the rain.

City where you most feel yourself... Paris, always feels
like home.

You have a strong personal style, in this regard how do you view passing trends? I'm not interested in passing trends, I'm interested in style and having an emotional response to clothes. Dressing up is not frivolous; it's mood changing and essential for sanity.

This outfit could be called 'everyday is Christmas' have you worn it on Christmas day?  No, I only bought the dress recently, but why wait for an occasion!

Do you wear parfum everyday... if so which? I am rather obsessed with parfum, my fantasy career change would be to be a nose. I have lots of different scents depending on mood, but one I can never live without is Fracas by Robert Piguet, the perfect cloud of tubéreuse bliss! If it was good enough for Gilda!
